That's fair. I'm sorry, I was just trying to piece together the situation from the small glimpse we get from a reddit post. If you have made it clear that what he is doing is hurtful, I guess my next advice would be to decide if this is a deal breaker for you. If its not worth ending the relationship, you may have to accept Jack in your life. If that is not something you can live with (possibly for forever) you might need to reconsider the relationship.
Someone commented somewhere the other day that boundaries are for you, not the other person. If someone breaks those boundaries, its up to YOU to leave, not them, otherwise it isnt a boundary. It just a request.
