You brought up an interesting topic (redpill). When I was at my lowest and loneliest, I took to that ideology for a couple of months. I'm not very proud of that.
At that time I was dissapointed of my “relationships” with women. I grew bitter and thought long-term relationships cannot last. And that is exactly what Redpill is based on. Treat them bad, otherwise they will use you and ditch you for someone else.
I'm so happy to escape that community, but then, as shown in the comments, I might turned to the “Rescuer” role in relationships which isn't good either.

Dating somebody you work with is already bad enough, but telling a potentially ruinous secret to him, and risking that secret permeating your work environment is folly. If you are dumb enough to tell him, for the love of everything sacred, never provide him with anything approximating proof. At least then if the relationship ends and he starts telling people you work with, he just looks like a vengeful ex talking shit.
I'm very sorry you're in this situation. I'm not immediately running to “break up”. You have been slowly dragging the lifeless corpse of this relationship for years. You are a single parent.
