  3. I’ve never had a partner die, but I’ve had close friends and family pass and I will tell you that you never stop missing them. But you start to miss them in a way that hurts your heart less. More like they’re away on a trip. Take it one day at a time, and take care of yourself. A counselor who specializes in grief may be helpful, may not. Worth a try though
