In his now deleted comment, the “pressuring” were just temp checks, not an actual press for marriage.

I do consider myself a good man, andI think I strive to be perfect ( even if I cannot be). I am more of people do not know what they really want, until they experience what they don't. I feel if she has more experiences with what she doesn't want, maybe she will truly want me. I do not want to wake up in 5,6 years , with her telling me I wasted her time, or herseeking for an open relationship.

You did the right thing by telling the woman he’s with. And it’s good you recognize that’s what you would have wanted if you were in the opposite situation. Doing the right thing is hard and unrewarding, punishing even. Don’t die out of spite. Even if you don’t care about yourself there’s others that you have to live for that cannot be without you. This time is confusing but as it all grows distant it will clarify. It’s hard to see your first love go on to other people as there will always be those moments you shared. But unfortunately they’re gone now, and by the sounds of it that person you shared those moments with is too. I hope time heals this for you. It may the only thing that does.

You're probably numb from the shock. The emotions will hit later, don't worry. There's nothing wrong with you, sometimes you just really do hit your emotional limit. You're dealing with a huge loss of trust for someone you've been with for a long time. Go easy on yourself
As a 22yo, there's a difference between dating someone who's 18 and dating an 18yo virgin. It's just a mental threshold of maturity you kinda cross and I'm guess he didn't want to pursue a relationship at that stage with that kind of difference between them.
