That is terrible advice! It would be one thing if she was constantly dating a string of different men and introducing them to her son but we're talking about a serious, long term relationship. Healthy romantic dynamics are absolutely a good example to set for her child. Unfortunately this one might not turn out to be that but it can certainly become a very important conversation with her son about the people who come into our lives and their roles and impacts.
