  1. I’m am currently in a very similar situation. We are still living with each other because he claim he can’t afford his own place. We set a date till June 2023. My oldest daughter will be graduating high school and off to the Air Force. Then we will put the house on the market and file for divorce. I’m sure my marriage is over at this point. (All my decision ) However I will never sleep or entertain anyone else until the ink is dye on our divorce papers!

  2. It doesn’t sound like she lied though. She didnt know he was married and then they made the decision that Will tells her, and Will said everything was fine and OP knew. For all they knew, OP was fine, so it probably just didnt come up.

  3. I don't think he's jealous about lack of opportunities. I think he's upset that he only has eyes for his wife and she doesn't feel the same. He wants to know why. There's no satisfactory answer for that. Some people are like that; some people aren't.

Everyone's talking about how she was honorable, and she was, but they're missing what he's actually upset about and so they aren't addressing it.

  4. Are you saying MDMA is worse? Becuase that proves my point more, that trying to have a heart to heart talk with your spouse while they are coming down from a trip is a bad idea. I literally never compared the two, was just saying that coming down from any drug trip is hard (especially 3 tabs of acid). I’m sure it’s a much more potent experience

  5. It sounds like you have some concerns about your partner's behavior while she was on her trip, and it's understandable that you're feeling confused and unsure of how to move forward.

It's important to remember that trust is a key component of any healthy relationship, and if you don't trust your partner it can be difficult to move forward. It's important to have an open and honest conversation with her about your feelings and concerns. It's also important to consider whether her behavior aligns with your values and whether you're comfortable with her past actions.

It's also important to remember that everyone has different boundaries and comfort levels in relationships, and it's important to respect each other's boundaries. If her actions are not something you're comfortable with, it's important to have a conversation with her about it and to think about whether this relationship is right for you.

As for the MDMA, it's not healthy to be in a relationship with someone who uses drugs recreationally and if this is something that is not aligning with your values it's important to have a conversation with her about it and make a decision that is best for you.

It's also important to remember that gaslighting is a form of manipulation and is not healthy in a relationship. If she is trying to manipulate you into thinking you have trust issues when you have valid concerns, it's important to address this behavior and decide whether this relationship is healthy for you.

Ultimately, it's important to make a decision that is best for you and your well-being, and it's important to have an open and honest conversation with her about your concerns and boundaries.

  6. Sadly you can't make him stay with you. You can suggest it but if he refuses there isn't much you can do. He has to want help and if he won't go to therapy himself the best you can do is tell him you are there for him and make a list of places he can seek help if needed. If you are currently in therapy discuss this incident with your provider and if you aren't I highly suggest you go back to work through this. Its maddening when you can see things that would help someone if they only invested the time but ultimately we can only care for ourselves. I feel for you both.

  7. Big important question. Do either of you have a narcissist in your life? Parent, sibling, friend, etc? Or an ex that thinks you/him are “the one who got away”?

I know a lot of narcissistic parents or siblings who would do EXACTLY that. As far as crazy ex goes…

  8. Can confirm, had multiple exes as well as my wife have random spotting for no reason. Each one pissed that it happened because “damnit I wasn't prepared for it ugghhh” almost verbatim.
