It’s normal to have opposite sex friends. It’s normal to be friends with people you don’t want to date/have sex with. It’s a shame that you haven’t met him, but it sounds like that’s just because you’re long distance, not because your girlfriend has deliberately been keeping you apart. If you want to stay with your girlfriend (and maybe grow as a person), I recommend doing some self-reflection on why you feel so uncomfortable at the idea of her spending time with a friend who happens to be a guy – and not letting that insecurity become her problem.
