2. Personally yeah I think this is a big deal. Like you said, it’s about the deception. He was actively keeping this from you.

   If he’s comfortable lying to you only a few months into the relationship, imagine what he’ll be comfortable lying about when the relationship is established and settled.

   Especially because you’re still very early into the relationship and your lives aren’t too entangled yet, I think this is a break-uppable offence. Cut your losses and leave, find someone who won’t lie to you. You’re right, he made an empty promise when he offered to dismantle the gaming group, and even if he did do it, he would resent you for making him, and his friends would probably all resent you too. Not a good foundation for a relationship. Which means he’s going to be speaking to his ex regularly for the foreseeable. Which might not be a problem, if he had been honest and upfront. If the trust is gone, only you can figure out if you have the energy to put into this relationship to try to rebuild it, but I wouldn’t bother if it was me, he’s shown himself to be comfortable lying.

6. I did. He says that, yes he misses me and he’ll make promises like ‘tonight it’s just gonna be you and me’. But then we just sit on the couch, watching a serie and that’s about it. I tried a couple of times to iniate a conversation but there is a 50/50 chance he is too tired. Even if we have a conversation, it is still for me so weird that i feel the need to explicitly tell him to talk to me. Doesn’t he feel the same need? Am i too needy? That’s why I’m finding it confusing
