Don’t get matching tattoos. EVER. My cousin got a matching tattoo with her best friend (female) and a few months later the friendship ended because the best friend was letting her new boyfriend basically shit all over my cousin, for her views and how she is raising her kids, and my cousin wasn’t having it.
Also, never do names of your partner or spouse. My mom got my dad’s name tattooed on her leg and then she literally walked out on him 3 months later. Thankfully, her grandmother’s last name was the same as my dad’s first name so she turned it into a memorial tattoo.

I agree with everything here except talking about it “exhaustively” one last time. Retroactive jealousy often includes intrusive thoughts, mental images, etc. that will be made worse by giving her boyfriend more details/information. I’d typically agree with you but retroactive jealousy is a form of OCD & the less he knows the better.
