No… we live together, she just doesn’t make enough money to cover her bills so I tend to have to send her roughly 500 to 1000 a month so that her side of the bills can be paid. (Her student loans, vehicle payments..) stuff like that. We have separate bank accounts

You need to put you foot down, sit him down and tell him, look reduce the payments down to half next month and then full stop month after, she stopped being your responsibility the ? you divorced she is now her new partners problem and if he can't afford it that's his problem, that should give her and partner enough time for him to find a better job or learn to live by there means, move to cheaper place, spend less, say you can't see yourself moving forward in this relationship and feel as though you are wasting your time on him as he is still anchor to his ex, so he either does that, and texts ex in front of you to tell her payments will be half next month and completely stopped after, or you will be walking away. Consider the possibility that she’s deliberately making her life look as shiny as possible because she knows you’re still following her. I suggest you just block her and move on. You’ll be better off in the long run.
My dad stole money from me when I was a kid. He didn’t mean to. I mean he did mean to but it wasn’t out of malice. It was out of lack of responsibility and lack of organisation.
