3. Is this throughout the whole week, including the weekend as well? Because 3 days of “me time” during the work week after work hours is a lot of time, where I could maybe understand where your wife is coming from. 3 hours a night Mon/Wed/Friday would make me upset, too. But if it’s only 3 days spread out the whole entire week, then I think she should be more lenient. Everyone is entitled to have “me time”, as long as it doesn’t interfere with being a father/husband during the rest of the week.

4. I am trying to fix myself, but that will take decades upon decades. Recovery is a process. What am I supposed to do until then? Should I just avoid relationships and being intimate until then? I did tell my therapist a long time ago that I think that I shouldn't be in a relationship of any kind, as in that I shouldn't have friends, I shouldn't go on dates, etc. But I was told that I'm beating myself up too much and that I should give myself a chance, especially since my disorders would likely never fully go away, so it's either make do with what I have, or have no relationships ever.
