Your feelings are valid, its not fair that your community is judging you or your relationship. You know that saying for couples, its us against the problem not me vs you? Ide say this is a good situation to practice this. I understand how your resentments are growing towards your wife, but this is her problem too. It is you and her vs this bulllllshit. Dont let other peoples drama break up your family. Take back control of your response/reaction to them by staying connected with your family and yourself. This is where therapy comes into play, solo or couples could help you strengthen that connection and learn to let go of the judgments of others. They (therapist or wife) could maybe think over some solutions too. My ideas, without knowing you guys, would be to make kind of a joke. Like if i were your wife ide always be joking that “i robbed the cradle and stole his youth whahaha” as for your daughter, teach her to have faith and strength in love. Whats the truth, and what is people gossiping? How do we react when someone talks badly about us/lies about us? Does is change the truth? No, it still hurts but people always got somethin to say.
