Why does he “need” teeth whitening? You realise that's a very American thing to do, right? As long as he brushes his teeth twice a day and flosses, as long as his dentist doesn't speak up, nothing wrong.
I’d say the answer is fairly obvious.
He has been out all day. He wanted to shower and get the filth of the day off before bed. Which is perfectly normal (and TBH I find it gross that people can be out all day, and not shower before they get into bed).
You sweat during the day. He was possibly around smokers. Maybe he had a beer spilled on him. A bird could have crapped on him.
The fact she never likes ANYTHING you like/do/suggest means to me this isn’t about her being autistic or straightforward with opinions, because if it were that, she would find something to like eventually. I think she feels superior to you when she’s putting down the things you like or have done and thinks it keeps her as “better” than you.
She isn’t, people are just people and you need to stop putting her on some kind of pedestal (which it sounds like she helped build!) because liking different things and having other opinion a is just that, different. Not better or worse, just different.

So you could’ve just told us that you were having a serious conversation? Why the manipulative tactic? It’s not really adding up, neither does it relate in any way.
I did look through your profile btw. You’re not a candidate for my 600lb life, but you’re kidding yourself if you don’t think you look obese. That has no bearing on who you are as a person or how good of a person you are. But the fact of the matter is, you are obese and that can change to morbidly obese in a matter of months if you don’t rein yourself in. Eating without abandon, giving up exercise, and trying to justify it under the guise of giving up porn and your sensitivity isn’t going to cut it.
You wanted advice and I gave it. Stop making excuses. Start working on losing weight. It is perfectly reasonable for someone who loves you to bring up the fact that your size is within the danger zone. Your health is in grave danger. My advice for her would be to stop enabling you in any way and keep having those hard conversations.
