My brother is an alcoholic. While I love him and wish him the best I wouldn’t let him live with me. He’s not doing hard drugs but addiction of any kind opens up issues. My brother has been know to steal things to pawn and go through purses for money just to buy cigarettes and beer- I can’t imagine someone on hard drugs with more severe withdrawal symptoms. I’m happy you said no- stand up for yourself. I think your right with him being an enabler since he couldn’t even agree that she needs to have a job and get professional help with her addiction.
