I don’t think either of us are in the position to be making such judgments on the current state of the dating pool. Not to mention, while some of your examples do exist/happen (although I think you selected a lot of extreme outliers), there are arguably equal examples of shitty ~40 year men in the pool. It’s pretty crappy for women from where I’m standing, too. If anything, this guy and you may be forming your opinion on experiences, sure, but it sounds like it’s not the 40year old women out there who are jaded in these comments.
