I was on Prozac for years because of PMDD. It didn’t lessen my libido or give me side effects. I had no suicidal thoughts at all. It took a couple of weeks to take effect and I did sleep more at first. The biggest problem was if I missed a dose or couldn’t fill my prescription right away, I would cry a lot. I’m older so when I started menopause and didn’t have menstral problems, I couldn’t stop the Prozac because I couldn’t stop crying. So I kept taking it for a while longer and finally just reduced my dosage, taking it every other day, then every third day until I was off it completely. But im glad I took it and it should help your girlfriend without any problems.

Had something very similar happen as a teen , proceeded to keep trying with the girl, years of mental torture from her followed but she would never accept it was over, I always thought/hoped she would change, especially when I got her pregnant, as soon as she had my kid she didn't want to know me, RUN!
