When I was in my 20s I dated a girl who was suuuper into coke and I had fun a few times with her, but I was about to leave for a working holiday to Australia so for me it was just a few fun party situations.

If that woman has eyes and ears then she has seen countless stories just like I have and won’t believe that for a fucking second. He may as well say to her “trust me, I have no interest in breathing oxygen.”
The rest of what you’re saying is kind of in the right place and certainly he needs to reassure her that he won’t do anything, but he may as well save it with the age thing, because no woman believes that’s a barrier and history would prove them right.
