I take your point, and I’m sure there are studies which demonstrate this, but this is the reality of the sex industry, right or wrong. I certainly don’t view porn stars as merely tools to inspire horniness if I see them outside the context of a video, but let’s be realistic about the purpose these videos are designed to serve. I can separate my own sexual experiences from porn, and I have a very realistic expectation of sex and people’s bodies, despite having consumed porn.
