Sounds like you two are at different stages in life, with different priorities. Whether that's reconcilable is something you have to decide for yourself. You may end up waiting around for him for a while, though, and he may never end up heading in the direction you want to go in.

The smug audacity of this woman is astounding! At her age, she knew damn right well what she was doing. Trying to take advantage of others is never a good look. I still can’t get over the fact that she was not bright enough to distinguish the difference between off the clock hair treatment, oppose to going into the place of business and trying to treat it the same way. Granted I had been with my husband for a lot longer at the time, but I got him tickets and then went with him to see one of his favorite bands – Dave Matthews Band. I fuckin hate DMB.
