Thank you for making me not feel like an emotionless asshole. I’m very empathetic and don’t need to prove why. (yet feel oddly attacked and like I might need to…) I’ve held his hand and wiped his tears more times than I can count. But I can’t help but feel annoyed when he starts up again. I always end up coming back to him after a while and asking him if he’s okay or apologizing for not being there more but I also explain that it’s hard for me too – I don’t know what to say. I run out of words- I say the same ones every time.
