2. Yep. That’s the way it goes. I too get on better with men because I am not interested in what a lot of women do together. Or, vice versa. I’m also married and it’s socially frowned upon to be a married woman and have male friends. I’m used to it now but I’ve sort of just accepted that I will not be making a lot of female friends. 7. I wouldn’t say we have been on any official dates. The two times we saw each other was when I had got in town and went to dinner and he just came so we could meet in person and then another time we met up for him to give me a bouquet of roses.

   He says he wanted to discuss it face to face on our first ‘official’ date but I felt uncomfortable because 1. I told him my circumstance immediately and 2. He told me he was single which is clearly not true.
